TABLE OF PROJECTS
Introduction
Hello, my name is Camilo Alejandro Ibañez.
I am a 25 years old Colombian social play designer with a situated, affective, and multidisciplinary practice, deeply marked by the tensions and powers of the territories I have inhabited. A lover of coffee, its cultivation, and for the people behind it. I seek to weave design not as a neutral tool, but as a political, poetic, and collective possibility to imagine fairer futures.
My work is built from deep connections with diverse communities, integrating participatory, speculative, and critical methodologies, where listening and play become acts of resistance and design. I am committed to slow, shared processes in which the boundaries between designer and community blur, making way for new forms of collective creation.
Having had the opportunity to develop projects in both the Global South and the Global North, I am driven by the desire to merge these worlds bringing together their distinct realities, challenges, and possibilities to propose a new perspective of design rooted in collaboration, mutual learning, and shared responsibility.
This portfolio gathers fragments of that path: materialities, games, devices, and narratives born from dialogue with the world. More than showing results, I seek to share questions, invite sensitivity, and spark the desire for transformation from the common, the situated, and the relational.
